Built on Uniswap
Volta is the first launchpad on Elysium to use the official Uniswap. Every Volta pool lives in the PoolManager that Uniswap deployed on Elysium, and trades go through Uniswap's own UniversalRouter. Volta adds a hook to it, not a copy of it.
Every other launchpad on Elysium runs its own fork of Uniswap v4, without an authorized license. Uniswap v4's core is published under the Business Source License, which reserves running it as your own deployment to Uniswap and the projects it licenses.
Launching a token
One transaction creates the token, its Uniswap v4 pool and its fee routing. There is no launch fee beyond gas. Every token has a supply of 1,000,000,000, and all of it goes into the pool: nothing is held back for the team.
The pool opens at a 40 HYPE market cap, on a curve that runs from that price to the top of Uniswap's range. It prices like a classic constant-product pool: about 40 HYPE buys half the supply, 120 HYPE three quarters.
- Swap fee: 1% to 5%, chosen by the creator and fixed for the life of the pool.
- Anti-snipe, optional: buys start at a higher fee, up to 30%, and fall to the swap fee over up to 15 minutes. What buyers pay above the swap fee is burned.
- Scheduled opening, optional: trading can open up to 30 days after the launch.
- Quote asset: native HYPE by default.
Fees
Every trade pays the pool's swap fee, in the quote asset. 70% follows the split the creator picked at launch, and 30% goes to the protocol.
- Creator: paid to whoever holds the token's creator NFT.
- Buyback and burn: buys the token on its own market and burns it.
- Holder rewards: paid out to the token's holders, in the quote asset.
The three shares add up to 100% of the creator side and can never be changed after launch.
Buybacks and holder rewards
The buyback and holder shares wait in the FeeVault until a pool has collected at least 0.01 HYPE (each pool keeps the threshold it launched with). The FeeExecutor is the only contract that can spend them, and only on two things: buying the token and burning it, or paying its holders.
Holder rewards run in rounds, at most one every 10 minutes per pool. A wallet needs at least 1,000,000 tokens (0.1% of the supply) to be paid, in proportion to its balance. Contracts such as pools and routers hold tokens without being holders, so they are left out.
$VOLTA
$VOLTA follows the Pons model: 80% of the protocol's 30% of every launch's fees buys $VOLTA on the market and burns it. The more Volta trades, the more $VOLTA leaves the supply.
$VOLTA trades on Volta itself, under the same rules as every other token, at 0x0f79931689Af199e7CF868ed1107bBA2C83c68f7. See the flywheel
Trading
Every token page has a swap card. It quotes the trade with Uniswap's V4Quoter, which runs it against the pool and so counts the current fee, then sends it through Uniswap's UniversalRouter with your slippage limit. Selling a token for the first time takes two approvals, one for Permit2 and one for the router; after that each sale is one transaction.
Volta runs on Elysium (chain id 99901), where gas is paid in HYPE. To bring HYPE from HyperEVM, use the bridge.
Network and RPC
When your wallet is on another network, the site's switch button moves it to Elysium and adds the network if the wallet does not know it yet. To add it by hand, use these settings. Volta's RPC posts your transactions straight to Elysium's Inbox on HyperEVM, with no third-party relay in between: a trade usually lands in under 20 seconds.

Contracts and ABIs
All on Elysium, chain id 99901. Contracts there can't be verified yet, so their ABIs are published here. Each file is a plain JSON array that viem, ethers or cast can read as it is.

Uniswap v4 on Elysium
These use Uniswap's standard v4 ABIs.
- PoolManagerUniswap v4 singleton: every Volta pool lives here
- UniversalRouterRoutes the swaps made from Volta’s token pages
- V4QuoterQuotes a swap against the hook before it is sent
- Permit2Token allowances for the router
Integrating
- Finding launches: every launch emits
PoolCreatedon the PositionManager, with the token in_memecoin. Scan from block 266,498. - Pool key:
poolKey(token)on the PositionManager returns it. The key's fee is 0 and its tick spacing 60, with the PositionManager as hook. The hook charges the swap fee, whichcurrentSwapFee(poolId, isBuy)returns in basis points. - Trades: quote with the V4Quoter and swap through the UniversalRouter, as for any Uniswap v4 pool. The hook emits
PoolSwapfor each one. - Launching: call
flaunch(params)on the PositionManager. Thecreatoryou pass receives the creator NFT and the tokens of the dev buy (premineAmount), while the caller pays for it. The site never launches without a dev buy of at least 0.001 HYPE, and integrations should do the same.
